Why & How Naad Therapy Works

Naad Yoga uses vibrational sound as a tool for inner attunement. Many practitioners report shifts in mental and emotional state that loosely correspond to different depths of awareness:

  • Calm, Focused Awareness (associated with Alpha rhythms, 8–12 Hz): a settled, meditative clarity often described during and after sessions

  • Subconscious Release (associated with Theta rhythms, 4–8 Hz): a dream-like, receptive state some connect with emotional or trauma release

  • Deep Rest & Repair (associated with Delta rhythms, 0.5–4 Hz): a state of profound stillness linked to physical and restorative rest

  • Expanded Awareness (associated with Gamma rhythms, 30–100 Hz): heightened intuition and integrative insight reported by some practitioners

These states are often difficult to access through conscious effort alone. Sound immersion is used as a gentle pathway toward them.
